After Care Ink Camouflage

* Do not use soap, skin cleansers or expose skin to the sun and any UV rays on areas of micropigmentation.

• Do not use make-up on pigmentation areas.

• Avoid contact with water in areas where a pigmentation procedure has been performed.

• Avoid excessive exercise

• Do not shower with hot water, sauna, solarium, jacuzzi or pool with chlorinated water for 7-10 days.

• To prevent infection, keep the pigmentation site clean, do not touch it with your fingers, and allow for quick and proper healing.

• During healing in the first days, avoid direct contact with pets or other animals with the micropigmentation site to avoid possible infections.

• The skin around the pigmentation area may be paler/whiter, which is completely normal. Such a condition normalizes within a few days.

• Swelling that may occur during and after the procedure subsides within a few days. To cool the swelling, use a cooling gel for a maximum of 10 minutes every hour, so that the pigmentation site does not get wet.

• Bruising or discharge also rarely occurs, which calms down within a week. Do not wipe or rub the discharge, just soak it up.

• Be careful not to wet the pigmentation area. In case this happens, do not wipe, but soak up the water with clean gauze.

• DO NOT SCRATCH, PULL, TEAR,…PIGMENTATION AREAS to avoid infection or pigment loss.

• If a scab appears on the pigmentation area, DO NOT FORCE REMOVE IT, as the pigment will peel off along with the scab.

• If you use a cream on the pigmentation area, apply it 1x to 3 times a day in moderation and never with your fingers, but with a clean cotton pad.

Recommendations for Ink Camouflage

• Do not apply cosmetic products that contain strong acids to the pigmentation site, as the colors will fade faster.

• In case of sun exposure, use a high factor sunscreen (SPF 50+). It is very important to protect the treated area from direct exposure to the sun for at least 2 months after the procedure - so as to prevent the wounds from staining with brown pigment and from any change in color.

• Continuous use of strong protective factors in areas of pigmentation will extend the color fastness.

Each pigmentation process is a two-phase process. The second visit is expected 6-8 weeks later when the pigmentation area is completely healed, and no later than 3 months after the first visit. The final result can be assessed only after the completion of the second pigmentation procedure.
